2. To perform this procedure, it is necessary to use a puller that grips the bearing from behind.

3. Attach the puller to a pneumatic impact tool and remove the bearing from the axle housing (see illustration).

4. Clean the seat and install a new bearing using a special tool or a piece of pipe that should be brought into contact with the outer race of the bearing (see illustration). Insert the bearing to the full depth of the seat.
8.4. Using a special mandrel or a large-diameter socket, insert the bearing evenly into the axle housing
5. Install a new oil seal (see subsection 7), then install the axle shaft (see subsection 6).
