Warning: The vehicles described in this manual are equipped with a passive restraint system (SRS), also known as an air spring system. Before carrying out work in the area where the elements of this system are located, you should turn off its power, since accidental deployment of the airbags can result in serious injury (see subsection 28).
1. The multifunction switch is located on the left of the steering column. This switch controls the turn signal, headlight dimmer, and windshield wiper/washer circuits. Also, with the appropriate level of vehicle equipment, the system is controlled from this switch «Cruise control».
2. Place the steering wheel of the folding steering column in the center position.
3. Remove the steering column housing covers (see chapter 11).
4. Follow the direction of the wires from the switch to the connectors and disconnect them (see illustration).
7.4. The two multifunction switch wire connectors are connected to a single large connector located next to the steering column
5. Remove the screws and disconnect the multifunction switch from the steering column (see illustration).

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
