Note: This procedure applies to front and rear wheel studs.
1. Loosen the front wheel nuts, lift the car and place it on vertical supports. Remove the wheel.
2. Remove the brake disc (see chapter 9).
3. Using a pressing tool, remove the studs from the hub flange (see illustration).

4. Insert new studs from the back of the hub flange. Place the wheel nut and flat washer on the stud.
5. Tighten the wheel nut until the stud engages the hub flange.
6. Install the disc and caliper (see chapter 9). Install the wheel, lower the vehicle onto the supporting surface and tighten the wheel nuts to the torque specified in Chapter 1 specifications.
