23. Mark any vacuum lines that may be tangled and disconnect them, then remove the throttle cable bracket nuts.
24. Remove the throttle body.
25. Turn away the bolts holding a plastic screen of wires of spark plugs.

27. Remove the manifold and gaskets. If the manifold is stuck, use a block of wood and a rubber mallet to dislodge it. Do not insert a screwdriver between the sealing flanges, as this will damage the surfaces, which may cause air leakage.
28. Remove all remnants of the old gasket material from the manifold and mating surfaces of the intake manifold. You can use old rags to fill the holes in the intake manifold to prevent dirt and old gasket material from getting inside.
29. Place new gaskets and install the manifold in its place.
30. Tighten the bolts to the torque specified in the specifications in this chapter.
31. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
