Attention! Depressurize the fuel system before servicing the injectors, fuel pump, fuel line, fuel distributor, or pressure regulator. After servicing the fuel system, switch the ignition several times between positions "ON" AND "OFF" (with a pause of 10 seconds) and check the system for leaks.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the IAC idle air spool and TPS throttle position sensor electrical connectors.
3. Disconnect all vacuum hoses from the throttle body.
4. Disconnect the throttle cable (see section 9).
5. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose.
6. Disconnect the air intake (see section 8).
7. Remove the bolts securing the cable to the throttle body (see illustrations).

8. Turn away bolts of the case of a throttle and disconnect it.
9. Install the throttle body and gasket and tighten the nuts to the torque specified in this chapter's specifications.
10. Remaining installation operations are carried out in reverse order.
