Throttle Position Sensor (TPS, 3.1L)

31. Remove the two screws securing the TPS sensor to the holders and remove the sensor from the throttle body.

32. If you intend to reuse the same sensor, do not attempt to clean it by dipping it in any cleaning fluid or solvent. The TPS sensor is sensitive and can be damaged by solvents.

33. Install the sensor on the throttle body with the TPS lever and TPS actuator lever in line.

34. Install the two screws securing the TPS sensor to the bracket.

35. Install the air filter, adapter and gaskets.

36. Connect the wire to the battery.
