Fuel tank cleaning and repair

1. All repairs to the fuel tank or fuel filler neck must be performed by a qualified technician. Even after cleaning and flushing the fuel system, explosive gasoline vapors may remain in it, which can ignite during tank repair.

2. If the gas tank is removed from the vehicle, it must not be placed in places where there may be sparks or open flames that can instantly ignite the vapors remaining in the tank.
