General maintenance information

This chapter contains recommendations for self-maintenance of vehicles "Chevrolet Lumina", "Pontiac-Trans Sport" And "Oldsmobile Silhouette" APV option, which is necessary to ensure maximum performance, fuel and lubricant savings, safety and reliability.

The chapter contains a maintenance schedule and describes the work for each item on this schedule. Many operations can and should be performed together. For example, if the car is already raised, the exhaust system, suspension, steering and fuel system must be checked, since all components are accessible. When changing wheels, it makes sense to check the brakes. And if you are working with a torque wrench and all you need to do is tighten the spark plugs, you can also check the tightness of many fasteners.
