Withdrawal
1. Raise the car.
2. Remove the transfer box protection.
3. Remove the front propeller shaft.
4. Disconnect the mode switch motor wiring connector.
5. Turn away bolts of fastening of the electric motor.

6. Remove the electric motor.
7. Remove and discard motor gasket (if installed).
Installation
Attention: if the electric motor is being replaced due to its failure, before installing a new electric motor, put the transfer case in neutral by switching it manually.
1. Install a new motor gasket. If there is no gasket, apply sealant to the threads of the motor mounting bolts.
2. Install the motor into place firmly by hand.
3. Tighten the mounting bolts. The bolt tightening order on the NVG 236/246 NP8 box is shown in the figure.
Tightening torque: box NVG 236/246 NP8 20 N.m; box BW4482-NR4 10 N.m.
4. Connect the wiring connector.
5. Install the front driveshaft.
6. Install the transfer box guard.
7. Lower the car.
