1. Raise the car.
2. Adjust body position so that it is level.
3. If installed, remove the gearbox guard.
4. Check the front axle for oil leaks. Carry out necessary repairs if necessary.
5. Clean the surface of the gearbox housing around the drain plug and level plug.
6. Remove the level plug (1).
7. Check the oil level. In an 8.25" gearbox, the oil level should be 12-16 mm below the cut of the level plug hole. In a 9.25" reducer, the level should be 0-6mm below the edge of the level plug hole.
8. If necessary, add oil to the required level.
9. Install and tighten the level plug, it is advisable to replace the sealing washer. Tightening torque 33 Nm.
10. Lower the car.
