Withdrawal
1. Raise the vehicle and slide the safety struts under the frame.
2. If installed, remove the transfer box guard.
3. If a double clamp expansion boot is installed, remove the clamp (4) fastening the cover at the transfer case.
4. Mark the relative position of the cardan shaft (2) and drive gear flange (1) gearbox (8) front bridge.
5. Remove the bolts (6) and remove covers (7) from a fork (1) front axle drive gear.
Warning: Do not drop fork bearing caps.
6. Disconnect the cardan shaft (2) from the fork (1). Wrap the bearing caps with electrical tape to prevent loss of the bearing rollers.
7. Take out a cover of the hinge from a flute of an output shaft of a distributing box.

8. Remove the cardan shaft from the output shaft of the transfer case, remove the shaft.
Installation
1. If necessary, lubricate the transfer case output shaft splines with a recommended lubricant.
2. If the cardan shaft has a boot with two clamps:
- A) Install a new clamp on the cover at the groove of the propeller shaft.
- b) Insert the propeller shaft into the splines of the output shaft of the transfer case.
3. If the driveshaft has a one-clip length compensator boot, insert the driveshaft into the transfer case output shaft splines.
4. Install the cardan shaft in the bearings and the fork of the drive gear of the front axle reducer.
5. Install covers (7) and bolts (6). Tighten the bolts. Tightening torque 25 Nm.
6. Install the length compensator cover into the groove of the transfer box output shaft until the clamp snaps into place.
7. If the case has two zip ties, use a pair of pliers to push the zip lock together until you get the recommended zip size.
8. If removed, install the transfer case protection.
9. Lower the car.
