Withdrawal
Attention: identification numbers are marked on the parts of the fuel manifold. When replacing manifold parts, install parts with the same number.
1. Remove the air filter outlet duct.
2. Relieve pressure in the fuel system.
3. Loosen the nut (1) fixing the engine wire harness bracket. Tightening torque 5 Nm.
4. Disconnect the connector (2) fuel vapor accumulator cleaning valve.
5. Disconnect the connector (3) generator.
6. Disconnect the connector (4) intake manifold absolute pressure sensor.
7. Remove holder (2) wiring harness connector (left).
8. Disconnect the connector (1) ignition coil wire harness (left).
9. Disconnect connectors (3) fuel injectors (left):
- A) Label the connectors with injector numbers.
- b) Install holder (2) connector to connector with one click.
- V) Press the tab on the connector.
- G) Disconnect the fuel injector connector.
10. Remove holder (2) wiring harness connector (on right).
11. Disconnect the connector (1) ignition coil wire harness (on right).
12. Disconnect the connector (3) throttle control.
13. Disconnect connectors (7) fuel injectors (on right):
- A) Label the connectors with injector numbers.
- b) Install holder (2) connector to connector with one click.
- V) Press the tab on the connector.
- G) Disconnect the fuel injector connector.
14. Remove clip (4) supporting the engine wire harness with the alternator cable to charge the battery.
15. Remove clip (6) support the wire bundle from the ignition coil bracket stud.
16. Remove the pin (1) fixing the ground cable from the right cylinder head. Tightening torque 25 Nm.
17. Disconnect the ground cables (2) And (3) from the cylinder head.
18. Remove the bolt (3) fastening the wire support clip to the generator bracket.
Tightening torque 9 Nm.
19. Collect the branches of the wire bundle and lay the wires to the side.
20. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose.
21. Disconnect the hose from the fuel manifold (2) fuel supply.
22. Disconnect the EVAP tube from the intake manifold.
23. Disengage the retainer securing the fuel vapor accumulator cleaning valve to the fuel manifold.
24. Remove the tube of the evaporative emission system and the fuel vapor accumulator cleaning valve.
25. Turn away bolts of fastening of a fuel collector.
Tightening torque 10 Nm.
Note:
- Before removing, clean the fuel manifold with an engine cleaning spray. Do not clean the fuel manifold with solvents.
- When removing the fuel manifold, be careful not to damage the connectors and injector nozzles.
- Raise the fuel manifold evenly on both sides until all injectors are completely out of their sockets.
- Plug open openings to prevent dirt from entering the system.
26. Remove the fuel manifold.
27. Remove the clips (1) fuel injector mounts.
28. Remove fuel injectors (3).
29. Remove and discard o-rings (2) And (4).
30. Loosen the screws (2) fixing the bypass pipe of the fuel manifold.
Tightening torque 4 Nm.
31. Remove staples (3) bypass pipe fittings.
32. Remove bypass pipe (1).
33. Remove and discard o-rings (4).
34. Replace the defective part of the fuel manifold.
Installation
35. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Lubricate the NEW O-rings with engine oil when installing.
36. Check the tightness of the fuel supply system:
- A) Turn the ignition on for two seconds (do not start the engine).
- b) Switch off the ignition for ten seconds.
- V) Turn on the ignition (do not start the engine).
- G) Inspect the system, look for fuel leaks.
