Withdrawal
1. Raise the vehicle and slide the safety struts under the frame.
2. (LY6 engine 2500 series) unscrew the two front bolts securing the oil pan guard, loosen the two rear bolts and remove the guard. Tightening torque 20 Nm.
(LC9/L76/L92/LY5/LMG engines) Turn away bolts of fastening of protection of the oil pallet and remove protection. Tightening torque 20 Nm.
3. Disconnect the water heater connector.

LY6 engine
4. Detach clips (1) attaching the heater wire to the brake pipes of the front brakes.
5. Detach the clip (2) support wires from the frame.
6. Lower the car.
7. Remove the bolt (3) attaching wires to the frame. Tightening torque 8 Nm.
8. Remove wires from the car.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
LC9/L76/L92 engines
4. Remove clips (3) attaching the heater wires to the engine wiring harness channel.
5. Remove the heater wire clips (1) to the power steering hose.
6. Lower the car.
7. Remove the bolt (2) attaching wires to the frame. Tightening torque 8 Nm.
8. Remove wires.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
LY5/LMG engines
4. Remove clip (5) fastening the heater wires to the frame.
5. Detach the clip (6) fastening the wires to the brake tube of the front brake.
6. Lower the car.
7. Remove the bolt (4) attaching the heater wires to the frame. Tightening torque 8 Nm.
8. Detach the clip (2) attaching the heater wires to the chassis wiring harness.
9. Detach the clip (1) fastening the heater wires to the suspension spring tunnel stud.
10. Remove wires from the car.
Installation
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
