Under normal driving conditions, the temperature should not exceed 100°C (210°F), however, with a significant load on the engine (long driving uphill or towing a trailer or trailer) coolant temperature may rise up to 122°C (250°F).
If the pointer indicates a temperature of 125°C while the engine is running (260°F), this indicates that the engine is overheating. In this case, immediately stop the car in a safe place and follow the procedures described in subsection "Engine overheating" section "Engine malfunctions while driving" of this chapter. Eliminate the cause of overheating.
