Front seat adjustment
1. Adjusting the longitudinal position of the front seats. Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the front seats can be adjusted either mechanically or electrically.
A) On models without electric drive, to adjust the longitudinal position of the front seats, move the lever up and move the seat to the desired position.
After adjustment, return the adjustment lever to its original position.
b) On power models, to adjust the longitudinal position of the front seats, move the switch in the direction of the desired movement, as shown in the figure.
2. Adjusting the position of the backrest of the front seats.
A) On non-power models, to change the seatback angle, lean forward slightly, pull up on the seatback lock lever, then lean back to the desired position and release the lever. The seatback will lock into this position.
b) On models with power seatback angle adjustment, move the switch in the direction of desired travel as shown in the illustration.
3. Adjustment of the lumbar support and lateral support of the seat back.
Adjustment of the lumbar support and lateral support of the seatback is carried out using a switch located on the side of the seatback. Pressing the front or back of the switch will adjust the lumbar support; pressing the top or bottom of the switch will change the stiffness of the lateral support of the seatback.
4. Headrest adjustment.
The headrest can be adjusted by moving it forward or backward as shown in the figure.
To raise the headrest, pull it up. To lower the head restraint, you must release the lock by pressing the lock and then lower the head restraint.
Access to the third row of seats or increased luggage space
To access the third row of seats (disembarkation and embarkation of passengers) or to increase the luggage space, the second row seat must be folded down according to the type of seat.
Second row seat 40:60
1. Pull the tab located between the seat cushion and the backrest of the second row seat to raise the seat cushion of the second row seat.
2. Push the backrest of the second row seat towards the front seats and fold it down.
Note:
- When the second row seatback is folded down, the seat head restraints will automatically fold back.
- After embarking/disembarking passengers in the third row of seats, return the second row seat to its original position).
Only Escalade ESV
1. Pull the lever shown in the figure up and fold the second row seat back.
2. Fold the seat back down.
3. Slide the seat forward until it locks into place.
Note: After embarking/disembarking passengers in the third row of seats, return the second row seat to its original position.
Second row seat 50:50 (Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade)
1. Folding the seat back.
A) pull the lever "1", located behind the seatback, up and fold down the second row seatback.
b) To return the second row seatback to its original position, pull up on the lever "1" and raise the seatback until it locks into place. To raise the backrest, you can use the auxiliary loop located on the side of the backrest.
2. Folding the seat.
A) Fold down the backrest (see above).
b) Unlock the seat by pulling the lever "2", located behind the seat.
V) Raise the seat at the back of the seat cushion until it locks into place. The seat will then be locked in the upright position.
G) To return the seat to its original position:
- Pull the lever "3".
- holding the lever "3", slowly lower the seat to a horizontal position.
- Make sure the seat is locked in the working position, then raise the seat back (see above).
3. Removing the rear seat.
A) Open the back door.
b) Fold down the seat (see above).
V) While pressing the lever shown in the figure, pull the seat up.
G) Holding the top of the seat, roll the seat out of the vehicle through the rear door.
d) To put the seat back in place:
- Holding the tops of the seats, install the front seat casters into the seat bracket holes in the floor. Make sure the seat bracket locks work.
- Lower the seat and recline the back (see above).
Second row solid seat (Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade)
1. Folding the seat back.
A) Pull the lever up to fold the second row seatback "1" and lower the seatback all the way down.
b) To return the seatback to its original position, pull up on the lever "1" and raise the backrest until it locks into place.
2. Folding the seat.
A) Fold down the backrest (see above).
b) Unlock the seat by pulling the lever "2", located behind the seat.
V) Raise the seat at the back of the seat cushion.
G) While holding the seat upright, disengage the seat post from the latches and lower it down until it locks into place. After that, the second row seat will be fixed in an upright position.
d) Setting the seat to its original position is carried out in reverse order.
3. Removing the rear seat.
A) Open the back door.
b) Fold down the seat (see above).
V) Pull on the tab located at the bottom center of the seat cushion to release the seat from the floor.
G) While holding the top of the seat, roll it out of the vehicle.
d) To put the seat back in place:
- Holding the tops of the seats, install the front seat casters into the seat bracket holes in the floor. Make sure the seat bracket locks work.
- Lower the seat and recline the back (see above).
Separate type second row seat (Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade)
1. Seat back adjustment.
To change the seatback angle, lean forward slightly, pull up on the seatback lock lever, then lean back to the desired position and release the lever. The seatback will lock into this position.
2. Folding the seatback.
A) Pull the tab located between the seat cushion and the backrest of the second row seat to raise the seat cushion of the second row seat.
b) Pull up on the seatback lock lever and lower the seatback all the way down.
