Note: When the key is removed from the ignition and the driver's door is opened, the anti-theft system indicator on the instrument cluster will flash to remind you that the anti-theft system is not activated.
1. Arming mode activation
- A) Open the driver's door.
- b) Lock the doors with the master central locking switch or remote central locking system. At the same time, the indicator of the anti-theft system stops flashing and lights up constantly.
- V) Close the doors. After about 30 seconds, the anti-theft system indicator should turn off, informing you that the security mode has been activated.
Note: the armed mode will not be activated if the doors have been locked with a key or manually.
2. Alarm mode (alert).
- A) When the alarm mode is triggered, an audible signal is activated for 30 seconds and the car's exterior lighting flashes for two minutes.
- b) When the security mode is activated, the alarm mode is triggered if the doors are unlocked without using a key or remote control transmitter.
- V) To forcibly turn off the alarm mode, unlock the locks of the side doors using the key or remote control transmitter of the central locking system.
3. If you do not want to activate the armed mode, lock the doors only after all doors are closed.
