Attention:
- The tailgate glass defroster is not designed to remove frost, ice and raindrops. If the surface of the glass is covered with frost or ice, then before turning on the heater, apply a special defrosting compound to the glass of the rear door.
- When wiping the inside of the rear door glass, use a soft cloth. Gently wipe the glass along the heater filaments so as not to damage them.
- Do not stick anything on the heater wires. Do not place objects near the rear door glass that could accidentally touch the heater filaments and damage them.
- Prolonged operation of the heater can lead to the discharge of the battery and to the failure of the heater itself.
1. Press the switch shown in the figure to turn on the heater. The indicator on the switch will light up.
Note: On some models, turning on the rear window defroster also turns on the side mirror heaters.
2. The heater will automatically turn off after 15 minutes. To turn off the heater earlier, press the switch again.
