2. Open the fuel filler cap (located on the driver's side).
3. Open the fuel filler cap by turning it counterclockwise. After removing the cover, attach the filler cap cable to the special fastener on the back of the hatch.
Caution: If the fuel filler cap is frozen, lightly tap or press on the cap to break the ice. If the lid does not open, then use a special anti-icing compound (do not use coolant).
