Attention:
- Make sure the light switches are off before replacing the lamp.
- To avoid burns, replace lamps only after they have cooled down.
- Halogen lamps require special care. Do not touch the glass part of the lamp with your hands, hold the lamp only by the plastic or metal housing.
- Use only bulbs with the specified codes (see corresponding table). For lamp codes not listed in the table, please contact your dealer.

Escalade
1. Replacing headlight bulbs.
1 - headlight low beam lamp, 2 - daytime running light lamp, 3 - front position lamp, 4 - headlight high beam lamp, 5 - front indicator/parking light lamp.
A) Open the hood.
b) Using a flathead screwdriver, release the eight tabs on the radiator shroud.
V) Remove a casing of a radiator of system of cooling.
G) Pull on the top left and right corners of the grille to release the latches. This will give you enough space to remove the headlight assembly.
d) Remove the horizontal pin of the headlight assembly by moving its end up until it clicks and then toward the center of the vehicle.
e) Remove the vertical pin by moving it away from the headlight assembly until it clicks and then up.
and) Pull up to remove the headlight assembly.
Note: When reinstalling the headlight unit, install the lower mounting tab of the headlight unit into the hole in the vehicle body.
h) Disconnect the connector from the bottom of the headlight assembly. This will make it easier to carry out further work.
And) Remove the seal and cover of the lamp to be replaced.
(Replacing low / high beam headlight bulbs)
To) Turn the bulb connector counterclockwise and pull out the connector along with the bulb.
l) Remove the bulb from the socket and replace with a new one.
(Replacing the Daytime Running Light Bulb, Front Turn Signal/Parking Lamp, and Front Position Lamp)
To) Press the connector lock lever and turn the connector, together with the lamp to be replaced, counterclockwise.
Note: When installing, insert the connector with the bulb into the headlight assembly and turn clockwise until it locks.
l) Remove the bulb from the socket and replace with a new one.
2. Replacing the combination lamp bulbs.
1 - rear turn signal lamp, 2 - stop lamp, 3 - reversing lamp, 4 - tail light
A) Remove the two screws securing the combination lamp.
b) Remove the combination lamp assembly.
V) Press the connector latch and turn the connector, together with the lamp to be replaced, counterclockwise (There is no latch on the tail light connector).
Note: When installing, insert the connector with the bulb into the combination lamp and turn clockwise until it locks.
G) Remove the bulb from the socket and replace with a new one.
Chevrolet Tahoe
1. Replacing low / high beam lamps.
A) Remove the two locking pins from the top of the headlight assembly. To remove the front pin, rotate it outward and lift it up. To remove the rear pin, turn it inward and lift it up.
b) Remove the headlight assembly.
1 - low beam lamp, 2 - high beam lamp
V) Disconnect the lamp connector.
G) Turning counterclockwise, remove the bulb to be replaced from the headlight assembly.
d) Install the new headlight by turning it clockwise until it stops.
e) Connect the bulb connector, put the headlight assembly back in place and secure it with two pins.
2. Replacing the bulb of the front direction indicator, front clearance and lamp of the outdoor lighting system in the daytime.
1 - front position lamp, 2 - retainer, 3 - front direction indicator lamp, 4 - daytime running light system lamp
A) Remove headlight assembly (see above).
b) Push the latch located behind the turn signal lamp assembly towards the outside of the vehicle
V) Remove the turn signal lamp assembly.
G) Press the latch, turn the lamp connector counterclockwise and remove it, together with the lamp, from the housing.
d) Remove the lamp from the socket and replace with a new one
e) Installing the lamp is carried out in reverse order.
3. Replacing the combination lamp bulbs.
1 - rear turn signal lamp, 2 - reversing lamp, 3 - stop lamp
A) Loosen the two screws and remove the combination lamp.
b) Press the tab and turn the desired lamp connector counterclockwise to remove the lamp from the combination lamp.
V) Remove the bulb from the socket and install a new one.
G) Installing the lamp is carried out in reverse order.
4. Replacement of lamps of the upper dimensions.
A) Loosen the two screws and remove the diffuser.
Note: The diffuser of the central upper dimension is fixed with six screws.
b) Remove the bulb by turning it counterclockwise and replace with a new one.
Chevrolet Avalanche
1. Replacing headlight bulbs.
(Type 1)
A) Open the hood.
b) Remove the front turn signal/parking light bulb assembly by pressing the tab on the outside of the block and pulling the block outwards towards you.
V) Pull the block on the inside and remove it from the engine compartment.
G) Remove the headlight assembly retaining pins from the retainers and then pull them out of the engine compartment.
d) Remove the headlight assembly from the engine compartment.
1 - headlight low beam lamp, 2 - headlight high beam lamp
e) Remove the bulb connector with the bulb from the headlight assembly by turning it counterclockwise.
and) Remove the bulb from the socket and replace with a new one.
h) Install the lamp in reverse order.
(Type 2)
A) Open the hood.
b) Pull out the locking pin of the headlight assembly as shown in the illustration.
V) Remove the headlight assembly.
1 - headlight low beam lamp, 2 - headlight high beam lamp
G) Disconnect the lamp connector.
d) Unscrew the required bulb from the headlight unit and replace with a new one.
2. Replacing the lamps of the front turn signal, front clearance and parking light.
A) Remove the turn signal/parking lamp assembly (see above).
1 - front position lamp, 2 - front turn signal/parking light lamp
b) Press the tab and turn the desired lamp connector counterclockwise to remove the lamp from the lamp unit (There is no retainer on the front lamp connector).
V) Remove the bulb from the socket and replace with a new one.
