Steering

In general, the steering system has not undergone significant changes on the new generation models. Remained, depending on the configuration, or steering gear (steering gear), or steering rack. Of course, all models were equipped with power steering.

As for the rear axle, I would like to note the elongated models on the GMT800 platform, where there was a complete set with a Quadrasteer ™ rear axle thruster, which becomes very important for cars of this size. But cars with such a system are also quite rare for our market. For some reason, the system did not take root on these models, and accordingly did not receive further continuation on the GMT900 platform as an option.
