Checking the parking brake pad

1. Raise the vehicle and place the safety stands under the frame.

2. Remove the rear wheel.

3. Remove a brake support together with an arm.

Attention: do not press the parking brake pedal with the brake disc removed.

4. Remove the rear brake disc.

5. Replace the parking brake shoe if any of the following conditions exist:

• lining wear has reached the wear limit line;
• lining cracking;
• lining lining.

6. Adjust parking brake pads.
