2. Clean the friction surfaces of the brake disc with denatured alcohol or an approved brake cleaner.
3. Measure the thickness of the brake disc at four or more points along the circumference at regular angular intervals. The micrometer should be approximately 13 mm from the outer circumference of the disk.
4. Compare the minimum disc thickness with the data specifications.
5. Determine the difference between the maximum and minimum disc thicknesses. Compare result with data specifications.
6. Based on the measurement results, decide whether to restore the drive or replace it.
Attention: after repair or replacement of the brake disc, the runout of the disc must be checked after its installation in place.
