Withdrawal
1. Raise the vehicle and slide the safety struts under the frame.
2. Remove dirt from the surfaces of the electronic brake control unit and the brake pressure modulator valve.
Attention: screws (1) do not reinstall the fasteners of the control unit to the modulator valve.
Models with VSES (w/ JL4) |

3. Rinse the control box (2) and modulator valve (3) denatured alcohol.
4. Disconnect the wiring connector of the control unit.
5. Loosen the screws securing the control unit to the modulator valve, discard the screws. Tightening torque 3 Nm.
6. Carefully pull the control box off the modulator valve.
7. Remove the gasket from the control box.
Installation
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing a new unit, it must be reprogrammed.
