Coolant bypass valve

Withdrawal

1. Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system. See chapter "Cooling system".

2. Disconnect the clamps securing the refrigerant outlet pipe (6) and refrigerant pipes (5).



3. Remove the bolts (3) fastening the bypass valve to the heater block.

4. Remove the coolant bypass valve (4). Tightening torque 4 Nm.

Installation

5. Installation is done in reverse order.

6. Fill the cooling system with coolant.

7. Using a special tool, check the connected fittings of the system for coolant leakage.
