Withdrawal
1. (Models up to 2007) Loosen the top console screw. Tightening torque 2 Nm.
2. Detach the upper console from the roof trim.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the front control panel.
Cadillac Escalade, pre-2005 models
Models up to 2007, models with a heater, with a mechanical drive. | 
Models up to 2007, models with heater and air conditioning, with a mechanical drive. |
Models since 2007, mechanically driven. 1 - screw, 2 - front control panel for additional air conditioning. | 
Models with automatic drive. 1 - upper console, 2 - air conditioning control panel, 3 - connector. |
4. Remove the top console.
5. (Models since 2007) Loosen the screws securing the front control panel to the top console. Tightening torque 2 Nm.
6. (Mechanical Models) Remove the climate control panel from the overhead console.
(Automatic Models) Press the four latches and disconnect the climate control panel (2) from the top console and remove it.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
