Withdrawal
1. Pump out the coolant from the air conditioning system.
2. Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system.
3. Raise the vehicle.
4. Disconnect tubes and hoses (2, 3) heater from an additional air conditioning unit.
5. Disconnect tubes and hoses (2, 3) cooling lines from the auxiliary air conditioning unit.
6. Loosen the nuts (2) fixing the additional air conditioning unit from the studs (1). Tightening torque 9 Nm.
7. (Models up to 2007) Remove the coasters.
8. Lower the car.
9. Remove the side trim of the luggage compartment on the right side.
10. (Models up to 2007) Remove the suspension control unit.
11. Disconnect all wiring connectors of the climate control unit.
12. Disconnect the caps (5) fixing an additional upper air duct (6) or (1). Carefully slide the air duct up and disconnect the lower part of the air duct from the center air duct.

13. (Suburban/Yukon) Disconnect the caps (4) fixing the lower air duct.
14. (Suburban/Yukon) Disconnect the caps (4) central duct fittings (3).
15. (Suburban/Yukon) Remove the central air duct.
16. Disconnect the caps (2, 4) or (3) attaching an additional air conditioning unit.
17. Remove the additional air conditioning unit (3) or (4).

Installation
18. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
19. Evacuate the system and charge the system with refrigerant.
20. Using a special tool, check the connected fittings of the system for refrigerant leakage.
21. Fill in cooling liquid in the engine cooling system.
