Withdrawal
1. Restore as fully as possible all the damage received during the accident.
2. Remove all associated panels and parts.
3. Clean the area around the hinge from excess sealant.
4. Mark the hinge installation marks with a scriber.
5. Fine sandpaper (100 mesh or smaller) lightly scrape the surface of the hinge to find traces of the four points of welding of the hinge to the post.
6. Mark the centers of the welding points with a core.
7. Using a special drill with a diameter of 8 mm, drill out all the necessary welding points for the closing plate of the bottom of the door opening to provide access to the hinge.
Attention: the opening closing sheet will be installed again, do not apply excessive force to it.
8. Using a lever, carefully tear off the opening cover sheet.
9. Remove the opening cover sheet, use a chisel if necessary.
10. Drill out the welding points of the hinge with a counterborer or a drill with a diameter of 13 mm.
11. If necessary, use a chisel to knock the loop off the post.
12. Remove the loop.
13. Remove welding residue and burrs from the post to ensure proper installation of the new hinge.
Installation
1. Repair any damage to the rack.
2. Install the new hinge according to the marks made when removing the old hinge.
3. Punch the centers of the holes for the hinge bolts.
4. Use a 3 mm drill to make a pilot hole.
5. Finish the post with a 13 mm drill bit.
6. Clean all surfaces from which paint has been removed.
7. Apply an anti-corrosion primer to the prepared areas.
8. Apply special body sealant to the mounting surface of the hinge.
9. Install the hinge bolts. Tighten the bolts. Tightening torque 25 Nm.
10. Lower the opening closing sheet along the door opening, weld the sheet at the factory welding points.
11. Clean and prepare for painting all damaged surfaces.
12. Replace the removed panels.
