Transfer case engagement lever — check and adjustment

1. Move the transfer case engagement lever in the cab to the 4-HIGH position.

2. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.

3. Disconnect the link from the transfer case engagement lever in the cab (see photo).



4. Switch the transfer box to the 4-HIGH position by moving the lever on the box forward until it stops.

5. Adjust the traction pivot so that the traction pin fits into the hole on the box engagement lever located in the cab.

6. Lower the car.
