1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and place on stands. Remove the rear wheels.
2. Jack up the rear axle under the gear housing.
3. Disconnect the cardan shaft from the gearbox.
4. Disconnect and compress shock absorbers.
5. Disconnect and plug the brake hose.
6. Remove rear brake drums.
7. Disconnect the handbrake cables from the shoe drive levers and on the brake shield.
8. Disconnect the breather hose.
9. Remove the ladders from the springs by unscrewing the nuts. Remove bushings.
10. Carefully lower the rear axle on the jack.
11. Installation of the bridge is carried out in the reverse order.
12. When finished, bleed the brakes.
