On the vehicles in question, two types of rear axle shafts are installed - fully unloaded and semi unloaded. Semi-unloaded axle shafts are supported in the outer part on a roller bearing pressed into the axle beam, the inner part of the axle shaft goes into the splines of the differential gear. The semi-axle of a fully unloaded type enters the splines of the differential gear, the outer part of the semi-axle is fixed to the wheel hub.
On all-wheel drive models, the front axle shafts are of a fully unloaded type. The length of the front axle shafts is the same, the right axle shaft is connected to the differential through an additional shaft to compensate for the asymmetrical location of the transfer case. The front axle shafts are equipped with internal and external constant velocity joints (SHRUS).
