- A) Open the throttle, bringing the engine speed to 2200 rpm.
- b) Release throttle.
- V) If there is no clogging, then the vacuum in the collector will change relative to the normal level by about 250 Pa up or down.
- G) If the reading of the vacuum gauge is no more than 650 Pa above the normal level, or the gauge needle stops at a level exceeding the normal vacuum, and then sharply deviates back, then the release of gases from the exhaust system or converter is difficult (the exhaust pipe is bent or transferred, the internal structure of the muffler has shifted, the internal channels are clogged).
2. On parts of cars, the converter is bolted and can be replaced by yourself. If the converter is welded with the rest of the exhaust pipes, then this unit is changed in a car service.
