1. Oil pressure gives an indication of the wear of engine parts (connecting rod and main bearings, oil pump, etc.). The most accurate readings are provided by a mechanical pressure gauge.
2. Unscrew the oil pressure switch and screw in a verified pressure gauge instead, ensuring the tightness of the seal (see photo). It is recommended to wrap the pressure gauge threads with Teflon tape. Warm up the engine.
3. Connect a tachometer following the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Measure the oil pressure at idle and at the speed indicated in the Technical data, compare the measured values with the standard ones.
