2. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
3. Drain the liquid from the cooling system.
4. Remove the air filter.
5. Remove drive belts.
6. Remove a radiator, a casing, the fan and a pulley of the pump of a cooling liquid.
7. Disconnect the radiator and heater hoses from the engine.
8. Disconnect the throttle cable and kick-down link from the throttle (if provided).
9. Remove the air conditioning compressor (if provided), without disconnecting lines. Move the unit aside and secure.
10. Remove the power steering pump (on vehicles with power steering), without disconnecting the hoses. Take the pump aside and secure.
11. Remove the generator.
12. Label and disconnect all wires from the engine (see photo).
13. Disconnect from the engine and muffle fuel hoses and tubes.
14. Designate and disconnect all vacuum lines from the intake manifold (see photo).
15. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.
16. Drain the engine oil.
17. Disconnect from final collectors exhaust pipes.
18. On all-wheel drive models with automatic transmission, disconnect the suspension struts from the mounts on the engine.
19. Remove the flywheel access hatch (or to the torque converter).
20. Get from brackets on the oil pallet a plait of conducting.
21. Remove the starter.
22. On cars with automatic transmission turn away bolts of fastening of a leading disk to the hydrotransformer.
23. Hang the transmission with a floor jack.
24. Attach a hoist to the engine and hang the engine to unload the supports (see photo).
25.0 unscrew the bolts securing the bell-shaped crankcase to the engine.
26. Turn away bolts of fastening of the engine to a frame.
27. Raise the engine and make sure there are no obstructions to the engine exit from the engine compartment. Raise the engine and remove it from the vehicle.
28. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
