2. Decompress the fuel system.
3. On most models, the fuel filter is disposable, built into the fuel supply line (see photo). Turn away nuts of unions and disconnect from the filter fuel pipes. On some later models, the fuel filter is a replaceable one located in the housing. Turn out the body, drain the remaining fuel and clean the inside of the body.
4. Install the filter in reverse order. Lightly lubricate the gasket of the replacement filter element and install it into the housing. Screw in the filter housing until it touches the gasket, then turn it 2/3 of a turn.
5. Check for fuel leakage after filter replacement.
Attention! If the fuel filter has been contaminated, then dirt may have entered the tank, which should be removed and cleaned.
