Checking the oil level in the rear axle gearbox

1. Install the car on a viewing hole, overpass, or on stands, making sure that the car is horizontal.

2. Unscrew the filler plug in the gearbox housing (see photo).



3. Insert your finger into the hole and feel for the oil level near the bottom edge of the hole. If the oil level is insufficient, then add the correct brand of oil through the control hole.

4. Tighten the plug.
