Checking the oil level in a manual transmission

1. Install the car on a viewing hole, overpass, or on stands, making sure that the car is horizontal.

2. Unscrew the plug of the control hole in the gearbox housing (see photo).



3. Insert your finger into the hole and feel for the oil level near the bottom edge of the hole.

4. If the oil level is insufficient, then add oil of the desired brand through the control hole.

5. Tighten the plug. Make sure there are no leaks for several kilometers.
