The air filter is located between the battery and the coolant reservoir.
The air filter assembly has an indicator that lets you know when the air filter is dirty and needs to be replaced.
The indicator is located in the air intake pipe between the air filter and the engine.
When the space inside the clear section of the indicator is green, there is no need to change the filter. When the space inside the indicator is orange and CHANGE AIR FILTER appears, the air filter needs to be replaced.
To replace the air filter, unfasten the case buckles and remove the cover. Lift the filter and piping connections from the air filter niche. Hold the pipeline and pull out by pulling and turning the filter from the pipeline. Try to spread as little dirt as possible.
Clean the connecting surface of the pipeline and the filter niche.
Install the new filter by pushing it completely into the pipeline.
Install the piping and filter in the filter niche.
Make sure the piping is properly placed in the niche. Locate the cause and fasten the 2 case fasteners. After the air filter has been replaced, the indicator must be reset. Press the button on top of the indicator to set it to green (clean) zone.
