Headlight reminder
The buzzer will sound if the headlights are on and the ignition switch is in positions 1,2 or 3. If you need to use the headlights when the ignition switch is in positions 1,2 or 3, the buzzer can be turned off by turning the wheel in the rows with the parking light control toggle switch / headlights - turning it all the way down.
Headlights for driving during the day (DRL)
Daytime driving lights make it easier for others to see the front of your vehicle during the daytime. They can be useful in many different driving situations, but are especially useful during the short periods after dawn and before sunset.
The DRL system will dim the headlights if:
- ignition on
- the headlight control switch is off and the parking brake is off.
If the DRL system is on, only the headlights will be on.
Tail lights, position lights and other lamps will not be turned on. The instrument panel will also not be illuminated.
When it starts to get dark, the DRL indicator light will remind you to turn on the headlights with the headlight control knob. Other lamps will also turn on along with the headlights.
When you turn the headlight control knob to the off position, all lamps will turn off and the headlights will go into DRL dimming.
To turn off the vehicle with the DRL system turned off, apply the parking brake.
Turn the backlight adjustment wheel next to the toggle switch up to adjust the backlight of the panel.
Turn the wheel further up to the first notch to turn on the radio, display and speed indicator at full power if the headlights and parking lights are on.
To turn on the interior lights (when the car doors are closed), turn the wheel up to the second notch.
You can switch the headlights from high beam to low beam by pulling the turn signal lever towards you.
An electrical circuit breaker protects the headlights. If the electrical circuit is overloaded, the headlights will flicker and go out. Check the headlight wiring immediately after this happens.
