Power windows
To open the windows, turn the handle on each door to raise or lower the side door glass.
Power windows (if equipped)
2-door variant
4-door or Suburban
If you have power windows, the control switches are located on each side door.
There is a switch on the driver's door for the passenger doors as well. The power windows will operate when the ignition key is turned to A or D.
Press the back of the switch with the power windows symbol to lower the window.
Press the front of the switch to raise the glass.
The driver's window up switch has an emergency window down feature that allows the driver to lower the window without holding the switch. Press and hold the glass switch labeled AUTO for one second to engage emergency mode. Emergency mode can be canceled at any time by pressing the opposite side of the switch. To open the glass partially, tap the switch lightly when the glass is in the desired position.
If you have a four-door car and power windows, the automatic switch has a lock feature. This feature prevents the rear windows from being operated except from the driver's position when the driver's side front switch is in the LOCK position.
When the switch is set to NORM, the rear windows operate normally.
Central locking rear door glass
The central locking button will allow you to open the luggage compartment window. To open the glass, press the top of the button. Then lift the glass up to open.
The speed selector must be in P or N for the mode to work.
There is also a central door locking switch at the rear of the vehicle that will allow you to open or close all doors.
