Rear seat access (Suburban second seat)

The right side of the rear 60/40 split folding seat has an easy access feature to the seats. This makes it easy to occupy and release the third rear seat, if available.

To operate the seat, slide the lever on the side of the seat down.

Tilt the seat by pulling the top of the seat forward. When you do this, the bottom of the seat will come free. Just push the chair forward until it stops.



There is a foot release lever for the rear seat passenger used to exit the vehicle from the third seat.

To enable free access to the second seat, pull the release lever up with your foot. Push the seatback forward and tilt it.

To return the seat to its normal position, place the backrest in an upright position and push the seat back until it locks into place.
