2. Designate a conclusion of a wire of a candle of 1st cylinder (if there are no pin numbers on the distributor cap).
3. Remove the cover of the ignition distributor, turn the crankshaft so that the tip of the slider is opposite the output of the spark plug wire of the 1st cylinder (see Chapter 2).
4. Mark the position of the slider with a mark on the distributor body (see photo). Mark the position of the distributor relative to the cylinder block (see photo).
5. Turn away a bolt and remove the distributor of ignition.
Attention! With the ignition distributor removed, crankshaft rotation is not allowed.
Attention! If the crankshaft was turned after the distributor was removed, then the piston of the 1st cylinder should again be set to the TDC of the compression stroke. Turn the crankshaft until compression is felt in the hole for the spark plug of the 1st cylinder.
6. Establish the distributor on the marks put before removal.
7. To engage the gears on the camshaft and ignition distributor, slightly turn the slider. Re-check the alignment of the marks on the ignition distributor housing and on the cylinder block.
8. Tighten the distributor plate mounting bolt, install the cover and connect the wires.
