Electronic ignition module (pre-1995 models) — replacement

1. Disconnect the battery from the ground. Remove the air filter.

2. Remove a cover of the distributor of ignition together with wires.

3. Remove the slider.

4. Carefully disconnect the wire connectors from the module (see photo).



5. Turn away screws and get the module.

Attention! The ignition module is checked on special equipment in a car service.

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Lubricate the module pad with the silicone insulating grease that comes with the new module (see photo). The use of other lubricants is prohibited, otherwise the electronic module will fail due to overheating.
