- 1) Disconnect the battery from the ground.
- 2) Disconnect the jumper connector from the circuit.
- 3) Cut the jumper right on the connector.
- 4) Remove the insulation from the end of the wire for a length of about 25 mm.
- 5) Straighten the wire strands, twist with a jumper and solder the joint with rosin wire (see photo).
- 6) Seal the joint securely with tape.
- 7) Connect the battery to ground and check the operation of this section of the circuit.
