1. Glass diffusers of many fixtures are fixed with screws (see photo).
2. On some fixtures, diffusers are attached with brackets or spring clips. The diffusers are removed either by removing them from the latches, or by prying on the bracket, from under which the diffuser is removed.
3. On the vehicles in question, lamps with several types of mounts are used. Some bulbs are removed by pushing in and turning counterclockwise. The lamp can also be removed directly from the socket or by removing it from the latches (see photo).
4. To replace the upper brake light, unscrew the diffuser fastening screws and remove it. Loosen the lamp holder screws and disconnect the connector. Remove the lamp holder.
5. To replace the upper instrument panel light, push down on the holder and turn to the left. Remove the holder, remove the lamp and cartridge from the back of the holder. Remove the lamp from the socket by pulling on the bulb.
