Power windows — description and verification

To drive the windows, electric motors with gearboxes installed inside the doors and a window lifter mechanism are used. The serviceability of devices and wires can be checked by inspection:

• A) fuse and/or circuit breaker check.
• b) checking the integrity of the wires from the switches, the reliability of their connections. Checking the health of the switch.
• V) checking the condition of the wiring and drives of the power window mechanism under the door trim panel.
