Checking the technical condition without disassembly

After cleaning and washing the cardan shafts, check the cardan joints of the front and rear shafts for ease and smoothness of turning the forks and for the absence of significant axial and radial clearances. Check the intermediate shaft joint for ease and uniformity of rotation for the absence of significant axial and radial clearances. Check the movable splines of the cardan shafts for ease and smoothness of movement and the absence of significant radial clearances.
