Change of oil

The oil must be changed when the engine is warm. To completely drain the oil, wait at least 10 minutes after opening the drain hole.

When changing the oil, the oil filter should also be changed (see fig. 2-10). When installing the filter wrap by hand.

Change the oil in the following order:

• after stopping the engine, drain the used oil and, without removing the oil filter, fill in flushing oil up to the mark «MIN» on the oil level gauge (2.9 l). As flushing oils, oils such as LADA PROMMA, TNK PROMO EXPRESS or UTEK FAST can be used;
• start the engine and let it run on this oil for 10 minutes at a low crankshaft speed;
• completely drain the flushing oil and remove the old oil filter;
• install a new filter and fill in the oil corresponding to the season of operation of the car.
