The power system is part of the electronic engine control system, which is described in detail in a separate Repair and Maintenance Manual for the engine control system with port fuel injection, so this section only describes the removal, installation of the fuel tank and replacement of the air filter element.
The air filter is installed in the front left part of the engine compartment on three rubber supports 10 (see fig. 2-6).
Outside air is sucked through the intake into the housing 9 of the air filter. Then the air passes through a paper filter element located in the air filter housing, mass air flow sensor 8, intake pipe hoses 1 and 3 and throttle pipe 5. From the throttle pipe, the heated air is sent to the channels of the receiver 6 and the intake pipe, then to the cylinder head and into the cylinders.
