The main malfunctions of the gasoline vapor recovery system

Idle instability, engine stop, increased toxicity, deterioration in vehicle driving performance can be caused by the following reasons:

• adsorber damage;
• malfunction of the purge solenoid valve;
• adsorber overflow;
• damaged or incorrect hose connections;
• clogged valves and hoses.

Inspect the hoses and adsorber. If there are cracks or damage to the housing, replace the adsorber.

If there is a fuel leak, check the tightness of the hose connections.

Check the correct installation of the solenoid valve and the connection of vacuum hoses.
