Seat belts are an effective means of protecting the driver and passengers from the severe consequences of a traffic accident.
To fasten the seat belt, pull it out of the spool and insert tab 1, fig. 9, into the lock 2 until it clicks, while not allowing the straps to twist. To unfasten the belt, press button 3 of the lock.
The front seat belts are height adjustable. To prevent the belt from touching the neck or pressing on the shoulder, adjust the height of the attachment of the upper point, and to reduce the height when moving, it is necessary to press the decorative belt overlay against the stand.
Rear passengers fasten their seat belts in the same way. For the middle passenger, only the hip belt is provided. Make sure the rear hip belt fits snugly around your hips. It is not allowed for the femoral part of the belt to pass around the waist.
Pregnant women should always use a hip belt if their doctor allows it. The hip part of the belt should be as low and comfortable as possible.
Warning
- When driving a car, be sure to fasten your seat belt and do not transport passengers who are not wearing a seat belt!
- Do not fasten a child seated on the passenger's lap!
- Pregnant women should never place the femoral part of the seat belt over the area of the abdomen where the fetus is located or over the abdomen!
- If the straps are dirty, clean them with a mild soap solution. It is not allowed to iron the tapes with an iron. The belt must be replaced with a new one if it has been subjected to a critical load in a traffic accident or has abrasions, breaks and other damage.
